The sites are so close we had people talking by their fire 5 feet from our canvas-sided slide out. The grounds are nice but unless you get into a particular loop everything is jammed together and you`re camping in a field.

This is my most Favorite Campground by far. The sites are huge compared to some. Most sites you can put a travel trailer on them and a tent. (Which they do allow) You have access to a 6.2 mile paved bike trail which conects to the twin cities bike trails & lots of hiking trails as well. Don't be suprised to see the Hennipin park police since they patrol the area quit a bit. and The rates for a site are pretty cheap. Bathrooms are very large, always clean and up to date. Cheap place to stay if you plan on doing some site seeing in the Twin Cities. One of favorite things to do is go to the Mall of America or go to a Twins game and then stay go back to the campsite for a Smore or two.
