Deer Valley Campground in the Mendocino National Forest is a nice, clean camp area...frequented by the OHV Community with full access to the Off-Road Trails...
The CRABTREE HOT SPRINGS however, are on PRIVATE PROPERTY and CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. This picture is of the hot springs and not of the Deer Valley Campground. Please DO NOT TRESPASS!
Thank you, Janice - Legal Owner of Crabtree Hot Springs

Situated in a dense stand of knobcone pine, along the summit of Elk Mountain`s southeast ridge, at an elevation of about 3,600 feet, on forest road 16N01, Deer Valley Campground offers spectacular views of Snow Mountain to the north & Mount Konocti to the south, and is only about 9 miles southwest of Crabtree Hot Springs.
