Chatfield State Park, Colorado - One of the oldest buildings still standing in Colorado, the 10x12 foot cabin built around 1852 was acquired by pioneer Thomas Slocum in 1859 and was part of their 120 acre ranch in Roxborough, Colorado. The sod house cabin remained in the family until the 1970s. It was later relocated and donated to Chatfield State Park in 1990. Chatfield reservoir and the Rocky Mountain foothills stand in the background.
