Todd S. | Nice Park to Hike Around | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | Enjoyed the contrast of woods and prairie within the park. Lots of nicely mowed trails to see the various topography and plant life of the park. Campsites are fairly small, but ok. Would definitely return.
Sheri P. | Pretty area, not the best campgrounds and facilities | Reviewed on June 19th, 2020 | The campsites are small, if you have a large rig it will be tight. The RV dump station is only accessible from one side and there is no water by the waste dump area( so you can't rinse anything right there..EWWW!). The only water is about 100 feet up towards the garbage area and it leaks terribly when hooked to a hose. The bathrooms are adequate, but need work. The horse camp area has NO WATER available. You would have to haul water in and it is a long drive to the closest drinking water spot. The lake is nice and quiet, some good fishing( not great) for a small lake. Pretty area, lots of trees and flowers and rolling hills. Nice people who work there, very friendly and helpful. Boats, canoes, paddleboards and gear can be rented. Lots of varied trails, some with steep hills, so be prepared.
